Parts of this installation are fashioned from an “objet trouvé”, an industrial air diffuser, with a microcontroller behind controlling an LED strip. The nuances of colour between red, green and blue change over a long time span so that the transitions are not readily perceptible.

This slow transformation conjures up the significance of light and colours in all cultures and religions, culminating, for example, in Christian religious architecture in the resplendent tracery windows of Gothic cathedral.
